Browser Help

A few minutes of browser setup helps keep AdvisorOS running smoothly. Start here if it’s your first login, or head to troubleshooting if something isn’t working as expected.

Getting Started: Configuring Your Browser

AdvisorOS works across today’s leading browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari and Firefox. For the best experience, Google Chrome is the most commonly used browser among our advisors.

Allow Pop-Ups For AdvisorOS

AdvisorOS uses pop-up windows for several features and workflows. To ensure everything works smoothly, add the following sites to your browser’s approved pop-up list:

  • myagentmate.com
  • app.myagentmate.com
  • mvc.myagentmate.com
  • agentuniverse.com

Where To Find The Pop-Up Setting

  • Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Site settings › Pop-ups and redirects › Allowed to send pop-ups.
  • Microsoft Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Pop-ups and redirects › Allow.
  • Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Permissions › Block pop-up windows › Exceptions.
  • Safari — Settings › Websites › Pop-up Windows, then choose Allow for each each AdvisorOS site.

Keep One AdvisorOS Window Open

To help protect your data, keep only one AdvisorOS session open at a time. Avoid opening AdvisorOS in multiple browser windows or tabs, and do not use your browser’s Back or Refresh buttons (or keyboard shortcuts), as these actions may cause data corruption.

How To Troubleshoot A Browser Issue

Tell Us Your Browser Version

All internet browsers regularly release new versions; elements of these new releases may impact AdvisorOS’ user experience. If you encounter any such issue, please notify your Support Department along with your browser version and the specific screen or function where the issue occurred. whatsmybrowser.org can identify the specific browser and version you are using.

Clear Your Cache Regularly

Your browser stores temporary data to help websites load faster, but over time this can sometimes cause issues. We recommend clearing your browser’s cache regularly to keep AdvisorOS running smoothly. Step-by-step instructions for all major browsers are available at Refresh Your Cache.

Review Add-Ons, Toolbars And Extensions

Browser extensions, add-ons and toolbars can sometimes affect how AdvisorOS performs by changing your browser’s default behavior. If you experience slow performance or certain features aren’t working as expected, an extension may be the cause. Learn how to identify extensions that may be slowing down your browser.
